SHENANIGAN GAMES
The Golf Club 2019 and Shenanigan Golf Society proudly presents the Weekly Shenanigan Games Kickoff! Games will begin on Saturday, September 8. Below you will find the games that are being played as well as a registration page to sign up. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact an administrator.
Welcome to the side games area of the NEW Shenanigans Golf Society. With the interest at an all-time high, we have decided to continue our party games to play when there isn't a tournament going on in the main society. One of the Admins of the society will run OFFICIAL Shenanigan Games on a set schedule each week. ***Please note that each of these games WILL be streamed.*** Each game can have up to 8 players including the game organizer. We are going to try and have as many games as we possibly can depending on the interest and we will try to cater to all timezones. You will receive a party chat invite from your game organizer when it is time to play. Below you will find a list of the games, and their rules. You MUST sign up in order to play unless there is not a full party, and at that point we will take anyone online who would like to join. Good Luck and let's have some fun!
Birdies and Bogeys
Birdies and Bogeys is probably the simplest of the game forms that were created. This game was created by Mallster and can be played with any number of players 2+. Each player starts out with a score of zero. If you birdie a hole, you add a point to your score. If you par a hole your score stays the same. If you bogey a hole, your score RESETS to zero. You could have a score of 8 going into the 18th hole and you could lose it all with a bogey on the 18th for example. The person(s) with the lowest score in the game will be required to give a donation of their coins to a random society, or one society of their five if they have them all filled.

"Killer" Golf
This game is a club favorite and yet another game created by Mallster. This game is more fun with a group of 4 or more. Each player starts out with 9 lives. Each time you bogey a hole you lose a life. If you double bogey you lose two lives, etc. If you par the hole you keep the score that you have. If you birdie a hole, you have two options. You can add a life to your score, or you can take a life away from an opponent. If you eagle a hole, you can either add 2 lives to your score or take 2 away from an opponent. If you get a hole in one you can either add 5 points to your score, or you can switch scores with an opponent. The person(s) with the lowest score in the game or the first person to zero lives will be required to give a donation of 2000 of their coins to a random society, or one society of their five if they have them all filled.

Team "Fores"
This game is one that most people are probably familiar with. This game will be played with a FULL party of 8 players. Players will be randomly placed on a team of four and they will play against another team of four at the same time. You will take the best score between the four players on each hole and play that against the other team's best score. This will be a match play format. The team that loses will be required to give a 4,000 donation of their coins to a random society, or one society of their five if they have them all filled.

Going the Distance
Players - Up to 8 players.
Rules - 1. Each hole is based on the yardage that the hole is on the scorecard. Your goal is to NOT score any number on the distance of that hole. For example if the first hole is 358 yards, you want to avoid getting a birdie, a bogey and an 8 if the hole was a par 4. Your goal would be to get a 4. 2. If you score a number that is in the yardage on that hole, you will earn 3 penalty points that will be added to your overall stroke score at the end of the round. 3. Each hole is based on the yardage of that hole on the scorecard. 4. The winner is the person with the LOWEST score after the penalties have been assessed to all players. The loser is the person with the highest score and will have to pay 2000 coins to a random society. 5. This game is going to be strategic and can be good for those who might not be doing well at other side games. |
ODDS AND EVENS
This side game is designed for teams of 2 and can be played with up to 4 teams. The object is very simple as each player will either have the odd holes or the even holes. For example, PLAYER A on Team 1 would play all of the odd holes and PLAYER B on Team 1 would play the Even holes. The team would only count the score from the player in which that hole belonged. The other player would still play the hole that opponent is scoring but the score will not count on the team score.
. The team with the highest score will lose and have to pay 2000 coins to a random society. |
Hero to Zero
Can be played solo or in teams
Game will be scored similar to Stableford format
If a player gets one bogey they are fine and receive 0 points for that hole If you get back to back bogeys, then your score resets to 0 If you get a double bogey or worse on any hole, score resets to zero Player with the most points at the end is the winner Player with the least points at the end is the loser and will give up 2000 coins to a society. If scores are level, the player with the most highest scoring holes will win. |
